The Harvest

The fisherfolk at Diveagar fix long poles in a line going into the sea. The net is stretched along this line of poles. and Voila! By morning, the Kolis gather the harvest.

The first glimpse of light @ Diveagar

I spent the whole of 30th December night at Diveagar... huddled inside a bedsheet in the chilling cold, i woke up as the day broke .. to the sound of the sea and feel of fine sand.

Bathed in Moon Light ......

30th December night, I was at Diveagar beach with my friends. It was full moon and the whole beach was bathed with pristine white light. I took some low light photographs .... was able to capture the stars :)



The beach was shimmering with the reflection...

My Lovely Zodiacs @ Sunderban

The muddy island beaches of Sunderban is where you can easily these lovely colourful crabs. 

The red one is called the Fiddler Crab. I couldnt find out the names of the other crabs. 

Look closely at the black crab, and you will see it eating the inners of a shell.
