Misty Rainbow

Watching this faint rainbow from the flight, I was suddenly hit by the thought that this was the first time i was looking at a rainbow with land forming the backdrop!
Shot this photo somewhere over Phillipines, just before landing at Manilla

Water-splashed landscape

Splendid highway, lush green vegetation on the sides, and you are zipping past this amazing sight on your vehicle....
hey, slow down... the clouds have just opened up and your windscreen gets drummed with the heavy drops. Your speed reduces to a crawl, you turn on the fog-lights. The driver may be cursing, but you, in the passenger seat, can now see a magical canvas unfold right in-front of you. The clear sharp green trees now become blurred. What you now see is what appears as a water-splashed painting.

When the world turns over, and the Sun rises.......

Puri, Orissa.....
Orissa, India - on the way to Puri, I saw the golden ball rise ... Be'er Sheva, Israel -- a new day begins, a new canvas gets painted and I applaud at the hues......

Sunrise at Be'er Sheva, Israel... from under the sand dunes....
