The Balanciing Act

Pigeons near Gateway Of India, Mumbai - lined up on a wire. It was interesting to notice their synced activity to balance their stance on the wire - which was constantly swaying to the strong winds. At one moment, all of them flapped their wings and i got lucky.

Gateway of India, Mumbai in the morning is a calm place. There are the morning people, but there is bustle as compared to the evenings and nights. The serenity is strangely coupled with a regular burst of fluttering wings..

Early morning time at Gateway, Mumbai. Tranquility all around, only to be broken intermittently by the flapping of pigeon wings. Even the deep throaty pigeon calls had blended into the serenity of the moment.
