Misty Rainbow

Watching this faint rainbow from the flight, I was suddenly hit by the thought that this was the first time i was looking at a rainbow with land forming the backdrop!

Vigan Handicrafts: bamboo magic

Vigan is one of UNESCO world heritage sites - still preserving the spanish culture amidst local phillipino culture. One of the interesting handicrafts are these bamboo-shoot-woven artefacts for household decor. They give a whole colourful appeal to all the souvenir shops at this place.

Sitting on the roof of our small hotel by the beach, having our breakfast, we saw some amazing blue waves crash near the shore line.
