Indian Pond Heron or Paddybird (info) is a very common sight among marshlands, water bodies, grass fields across Indian Subcontinent. It appears to have a thick neck when perched since it is always hunched. It changes its plumage to a more dull grey while breeding
Spotted Owlets spotted! Caught these two owlets on camera at the Taj Gardens, Taj Mahal. They were quite playful - patiently perched, not moving at all, but still following my camera with their eyes.

There are lots of makeshift hair-salons in India, and you can come across several types in several places - behind shops, in alley-ways, under banyan trees, near river banks etc etc. This particular shot is near Library Stand, Mussoorie. The Mountain Dew bottle apparently has the after-shave. It has been fitted with a spray-head too..
